Abnormality, nostalgia, the mysterious and absurd fuel my passion to create. Through the lens of a camera, I portray compositions of irony and visions of otherworldly scenes. Situations, juxtapositions and the presumably irrelevant are revealed in a different light when they enter my viewfinder. Surroundings and objects transcend the functions and parameters that generally define them.

My assemblage pieces are narrative in nature. They are personal works that speak of my experiences, emotions, struggles, and desires. They resemble chapters in my life in miniature and tangible form—keepsakes of fond memories, lessons, and bitter-sweet comprehensions of my fleeting mortal existence.

Through art, I seek to create a place for immersion in myself. It is the culmination of my thoughts and experiences, and it is an outward expression of my inner-most being. It is an escape from the day-to-day, and it is a world I have constructed where I live my dreams.
